Xbox S
I am a big fan of Xbox because my wife got me an Xbox One about 8 years ago and that thing is still going strong. I have gotten lot of good use out of it. I have really enjoyed games like The Gears of War series and The Halo Series. So, I really like the Xbox S because I think it’s really cool how Microsoft gave people a cheaper option that could still play next-generation games. It is designed really well. It’s simple and very portable. I think Microsoft has done a really good job providing great gaming tech at an affordable price. Especially during the madness that happened because of Covid-19 when you could not even get your hands on a PS5 because of the supply shortages. Xbox S was still available. I think they were able to seize a huge sales opportunity during that time. Something else I like about the Xbox S is that you can use your older generation controllers. My one knock on this console is think they need to improve the interface, it feels someone outdated.
It also comes in a 1TB version that is black. The Xbox X is also a great console. The specs are basically the same, but the Xbox X has a somewhat better GPU. The Xbox X is really cool, but the S is the best option if you don’t want to spend the money and are okay with not having those extra perks. The Xbox X is able to play some original Xbox games, but you have to double check online because not all of them are, which doesn't really make sense. At first I though they were all playable, but I found out the hard way they are not. Pretty frustrating. Hopefully, soon they will add original Xbox games to their catalog or someone else will add those same games.
